Project - Kwari

For this project our client Kwari Ltd licensed the BigWorld Technology and then seleced Micro Forté Studios to develop an innovative MMO product, built around their idea for an ambitiously different business model. The idea was to create a fast paced first person shooter where the players were competing for real cash. With every shot fired in the game linked to a real money transaction, security and reliability were of utmost importance. Our development team worked in close collaboration with Kwari to realize their idea through to the final product. Their emphasis for this product was not on high-end graphics, but on their innovative game play concept. Micro Forte Studios’ Particular achievements on this project include a sophisticated player matching system that enabled players of similar skill to be matched against each other, the development of specialized anti-hacking and anti-cheat mechanisms, and the tight integration into an industrial strength transaction billing system capable of rapid verification of cash transaction requests.

While the Kwari business model did not meet expectations, the development team at Micro Forté Studios are proud to have delivered the project to Kwari’s requirements and to a very tight timeframe of 14 months development work.
